One-year agreements have been signed to teach Basic Skills for Life. Created initially by the Africa Co-operative Action Trust (ACAT) the aim of the course is to provide an understanding among participants of the role they can play in determining their own future. A nuqmber of critical life skills are introduced, including: nutrition; health including HIV; how to establish a successful vegetable gardening; essential business skills; and exploring world view, and how this effects our relationship with others and God. Currently we are trying to introduce this program at Morne Rouge and Duty Schools.
