Duty School is in a fertile plain area south west of Cap Haitien, 2 miles south of Plain du Norde. Before we were able to provide a matching tuition program, they had not been able to pay their teachers for 6 months and were facing closure. Duty has just received new toilet construction and a new kindergarten area. They are now jubilant and hopeful for their students and eagerly anticipating new agricultural initiatives.
Because of Hurricane Matthew in September, 2016, there has been significant damage to the Moringa crop due to flooding; thankfully it was not a total loss. Anybody who has visited here knows that this is a ‘heavy place’ spiritually, with an overwhelming voodoo presence. With your support, God will prevail!
