The underlying issue in Haiti is the documented and studied fatalism and passivity caused by the country’s reliance on Voodoo. The Joy and Hope of Haiti needs to buttress our interventions in Haiti with a spiritual tenacity. Prayer teams are needed. If we are not vigilant in this area, we will fail to achieve transformational change.
